WOW!

It has been a long time since I have posted on here. We now have two children that are wonderful. My little angel is almost 1 and my little man is 3. It is amazing how time flies. Little man is going to school 3 days a week and has wonderful friends at school. My angel is doing well and crawling all over the place which of course keeps me on my toes. Angel can make it up the stairs now which of course for a first time parent is scary. The second time around though it is a good milestone ( at least I think) though it does pose the problem of putting gates everywhere. I am glad she can climb the stairs but it is one extra thing to look out for as well. My little man loves to say his ABC's. I also at times like to call him Ferdinand (the bull) because at times he would much rather sit with the flowers. Instead of smelling them he picks them for mommy. This of course just warms my heart. I have been reading him the story of Ferdinand (the bull) every night lately. He really likes the story. My little man loves his books. The hubby is busy at work with whatever it is that he does. I am busy keeping the house together from the two kiddos and loving my crafting and want to really get more into it. I think my next big task after finishing my angels baby blanket will be to make a afghan for my parents. I am still thinking about colors and which house I will make it for. I am also possibly starting a daycare (FCC) out of the house. I think it will be a good thing though, it may pose interesting situations during the day. It will also cut out the time I have to craft but I will be providing for the family in a whole new way which makes me feel wonderfully awesome. God Bless and have a wonderful day!

Update

Benjamin and I are visiting family in Indiana right now. Justin is serving in Afghanistan and will not be home for the holidays.

Its hard to believe that Benjamin is 18 months already. I start student teaching in January at a Private school near Fort Drum.

We love living in upstate New York. We have made several friends that have been very good to us.

Berry Family Update

Justin has just completed his first month in Afghanistan. He will be there until April/May of 2011. Life without Justin here in the states has been an adjustment. We are doing well here. Benjamin and I miss Justin/daddy very much.

I am finishing the last few lessons I have to teach before the end of the year. I start student teaching in January at a Catholic Christian Academy.I am looking forward to it. I do not know what grade I will be working in yet. I am hoping it is in lower elementary.

Benjamin is getting bigger. It is hard to believe that he is almost 17 months old. Where does the time go. Ben is starting to say mom, uh-oh, daddy, and a few other words. He will climb in his chair when it is time for dinner. We listen to K-Love in the morning on the way to daycare. He dances in his seat. It's really cute.

October

October has flown by. It is hard to believe that Benjamin is already five months old. Time really does fly, especially when you have a little bundle of joy in your life.

Most of October Benjamin and I spent down in South Carolina so that we could see Justin on the weekends. He is doing wonderful at OCS. Benjamin and I will be flying down in November to see him for Thanksgiving. We will spend a few days with him down there. He then will be flying home for Christmas.

Benjamin and I went to the Zoo Halloween at the Fort Wayne Zoo on Monday. It was fun. The zoo had pumpkins all over the place. He went as a tiger. It was so cute. He eventually fell asleep as we got through the walk.

Benjamin is talking more and more. He is singing and trying to blow raspberries. He likes to talk back to you when you talk to him. He also smiles at almost everyone he meets.

Most nights he is sleeping through now. Which is a wonderful blessing.

We really did enjoy our time down in South Carolina and Georgia.

MY BIG BOY

Benjamin is getting so big. The other day he just burst out laughing. He was laughing so hard on Monday that he was shaking up and down. Benjamin also went to the doctor recently. He is now 14 lbs and 24 1/4 inches long. I can't believe how big he has gotten in four months. It is amazing to see the changes that he is going through on a daily basis. I never knew how much you could love a child, until I had one of my own.

Justin is finishing up at Victory Forge. Hopefully I will hear from him tomorrow when they get in. I am not sure if I will though. It is the last task he had to finish before graduation from basic. I can't believe I have a week left now until I get to see him. Its been so long. Benjamin and I miss him so very much.

We are very proud of Justin and what he is doing for our family. I can't believe he loves us enough to put himself through the tough task of basic training. I am so glad he does. Justin will be in awe when he gets to see Benjamin on the first of October. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees our handsome little boy.

We love you so much Justin. We are very proud of you and what you are doing!
